We went to Luxembourg. The 7th smallest country in the world but one with the highest GDP per capita. Luxemburgish is the main language spoken which sounds like a mixture of Dutch and German. French is the only language for legislation, however Luxembourgish, French and German are used in everyday life! What we visited: Ville Haute, home to historical treasures like the Grand Ducal which serves as the official dwelling for the Grand Ducal family and the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Luxembourg. Bock Promontory holds a significant place in the history of Luxembourg. The cradle of the city, this rock played a pivotal strategic role. Bock Promontory is nestled within the confines of the Alzette valley. This geographical advantage made the stronghold easily defensible, contributing to its historical importance.
